I had some bad news today which put life into perspective.

But I’m seeing life differently now.

I can't remember, were you super positive for the City, Liverpool & Brighton prem games?

Fantastic stuff from the team and management, didn't think we'd do it but agreed with Howe's selection resting players and giving others a run, all in all a good night's work.

Both were excellent tbh, especially Dummett, he ran himself into the ground. With Tino and Targett the defence was immense tbh.

City hardly had clean chances in the first half tbh either, all their dominance was due to our weak midfield which changed as soon as Gordon and Bruno came on.

He was. In fact. One of the best debuts I’ve ever seen. And MOTM. And against Man City.

Gordon looks hungry and fit and sharp as a knife.

Bruno looks back to his best.

    Joelinton was like glue.

A good start to the season now.

If we hadn’t lost that Liverpool game…….

    Livramento was good tbf

Said nothing but negatives about the signing, and still have doubts about when he's going to replace Trippier

    But he was really good

I know it was a much changed City team but I still can't believe we've progressed against that defence especially with 10 changes from the last game.

A clean sheet for Dummett and Lascelles takes me right back to the Championship

Ha, yeah…and if you’re struggling to track down party boy grealish try checking Tino’s back pocket!

Tino deservedly man of the match. Thought Lewis Hall looked quite tidy in the first 20 mins so definitely something there I reckon. Man City bossed the first half after that and Miley and Hall got understandably over ran…hats off for Eddie switching things up at half time, totally changed the game and our shape.

Gordon is just gonna get better and better, he is gonna be immense for us this season!

However at least now we know if Trippier gets an injury we have proper cover in place

I agree mostly. In fact 90% but I didn’t see much in Hal today. But he’s only a kid.

What a performance second half though.
