Friendly advice alert: Anyone driving to Hull on Satdee, be aware...M62 Ouse Bridge is closed from late Friday to Monday. Going around will put about circa 45 mins on your journey, plus car park next to stadium will be closed due to prep for Hull Fair... Parking in city centre will be available about 15 to 20 mins walk....Priory Park Park and Ride could be a good option. Have a nice day, but Not that nice.

Thank you. The contributors on this site are either living the other side of the World or can only go out with the aid of a carer. I doubt any will be travelling.

Very thoughtful, thank you. That journey would be described here as a “long old poke” but I’m sure we’ll be taking a few.

In the same spirit, you come to us on the Saturday of the May Day bank holiday. By then, the annual invasion of what I call emmets and Sensible would call grockles will have begun. Try to be through Bristol by 6am if you wish to keep your sanity!

tbh....I've got relatives in Plymouth. Always look out for results. Alternative route avoiding M62 and the Ouse Bridge closure: M1, M18, M180 towards Scunthorpe, A15 Humber Bridge, cross Humber Bridge. Toll for car is £1.50 no cash. After crossing Humber Bridge you've got two choices 1st exit at the r/about, and take the slip road onto the Clive Sullivan Way, or take 3rd exit and drive into the city. MKM is give or take 3.5 miles from Humber Bridge.
No parking at stadium....Recommend Priory Park Park&Ride.....1st turn after going under the bridge ie Clive Sullivan way, signposted 'Hessle'...Bus takes about 20 mins to the ground, though 30 in heavy traffic.

You'll have had to make 2,000+ tickets available to away fans I think. The club is still selling them until tomorrow but I'd imagine they'll be all but sold out. Actually, £20 is not a bad price!

That’s more than I get in most months Plym.

I do apologise. I think I can say with some confidence that it won’t happen again.

I did point this game out to you all in my post of Tuesday, in which I identified it as the Super Match, and suggested it was likely to be a high score win for Sunderland. Is there a word for what lies beyond “smug”?

Smugger.....Smuggest.....Self-Satisfied.....Excessively pleased.....Complacentself- Critical.....generally followed by a kamikaze style plunge into oblivion and wishing you never gloated so much in public.

On the other hand it might be a good day to buy a lottery ticket before your luck deserts you.

I have one for last night's Euro Millions. Haven't checked it yet..... only do it when there's a big prize, which I have a plan for, should I win it.

Never mind....a 150 million Euros would just cause unnecessary problems.....and you wouldn't be able to keep it secret....you'd have beggars sleeping on your door step....by the way what is your address....I'll have to buy a sleeping bag first.
