He should fit right in immediately. He hasn't had a USA call up for some time, but I still think he is quality.
He has been in dispute over unpaid earnings with his previous club. I believe he had to wait for clearance from UEFAFIFA until he could walk away from his contract. He has played in America and in Portugal ...obviously a bit of a gamble for Premier league clubs, especially with the uncertainty of waiting. So it was always going to be Championship clubs ( yes he is looking to use us a stepping stone...but hey if we sell him at a profit...)
