    Excellent team performance.
    1. Seri (oozes class)
    2. Connelly ( like a wasp at a BBQ)
    3. Allsop. (Safe hands and good distribution)

Not impressed with the SKY pundits who tried their utmost to devalue all three of our goals and at least one of them should learn the rules of the game before spitting his dummy out claiming a point blank shot diverting off Christies leg onto his arm was a penalty. No matter how many times he said it was, the rules say it wasn't.
And how was Slaters shot an own goal?

Having seen Slaters shot from behind it was heading 15yards wide before the deflection, to claim it, the shot has to be on target in the first place

In snooker or billiards, a cannon like that would be applauded. He was going for the in-off.

Sky gave it to Allsop (for saves, distribution and assist). Fair enough.

Allsopp - Could be the goalkeeping equivalent of Danny.

    Connolly - He’s a terrier

Morton - I think he did things I didn’t see

One of few things that annoys me with Seri is when he tries to be a bit too fancy.
3-1 up and instead of taking a touch, slow things down, find a pass, he tried to flick it rightaway. We lost possession and Stoke...well they didn't do much, but it was a dangerous situation, think it was Seri and Greaves for some reason left defending.

He does ooze of quality tho <ale> Gonna be a special little season this I'm starting to sense :emoticon-0143-smirk

Top marks for Traore today - came back from that miss with a great goal, some timely clearances and seemed to be enjoying his game - well done

Yes, full marks to LR for giving him the chance to shake the monkey off his back. Anyone who pulled the shirt on today could have made the 3 on any given day, great team performance…

Whatever Connolly had lost whilst at Brighton.....looks like he's found it again for sure, maybe that broken toe last season has done us a real favour as this kind of form for us last season could easily have seen someone else snap him up, get an extension sorted out please guys!

Really surprised at how few have rated Jaden ? He makes one , his close control under physical pressure is incredible for very young lad , he doesn’t mind a challenge or tackle . He was very un selfish today and played a good number of simple passes - my only complaint he doesn’t smile much .
    Morton
    Seri
    Traore
A lot of players are getting time on the pitch , great to have Lokilo coming on and keeping possession.
Just a point Jaden, Traore , Lokilo do keep the ball to relieve pressure like Grealish does for Pep , that’s why he loves him

Morton just misses out on top 3. Traore narrowly behind. Seri played well but still has a suicide moment per game in him which he really needs to cut out. Slater got better as it went on. Christie looked decent. Vinagre looking like a very good signing. Greaves was out of sorts, Jones too, to a lesser extent.

Delap and Macca did well coming on, which is good as Macca will be starting the next game.

I love Seri but what a terrible decision at the end of the first half to carry the ball from the edge of their box back towards our goal before exchanging passes with our CB’s and slipping and giving a free kick on the edge of our box.

It could have been 2-1 at HT and I think that’s the reason Connelly was going nuts.
