Not a knee jerk reaction to today but I'd bring Roberts in for Ba, Aouchiche for Jobe and Hemir for Burstow on Friday. Just some fresh legs. Back 4, Keeper, Pritch and Clarke pick themselves atm.

I did moan at a few of our crosses today. Just werent being put into good areas and to be fair I thought their centre halves were solid. We seemed to get to the byline on the left a lot but regularly the cross wasnt right. All of that said we did get good chances. Roberts and Pritchard should probably have done better and on another day one of them gets put away. I seem to remember Jobe being in a good spot too but didnt get the shot away. Some of their defending reminded me of ours against Blackburn, so a bit of a role reversal. The centre forward who came on in the second half for them looked a right handful as well. Not sure why he wasnt starting.

Even Man City freshen things up and change front 3 or 4 barring Haaland. We have the squad now. Shouldn't be same players playing 3 times in 8 days. Not moaning about today though. Sometimes these games happen.

Think Dack would have made a difference if fit. Has completely different movement in the box from most of the other forward players we have.

Needs to watch when cirkin is back as huggins is starting to look like the player we signed, and he's a natural RB so although I really like Hume there is stiff competition for his place so needs to up his game to keep his place

Thought Huggins had a very good game and improved as the game went on, overlapping and running at pace at defenders, as well as defending well.
However, the bloke in front of me called him "****e" when, early in the first half, headed a ball that looked like going out!! Continued to moan about him most of the game <doh>

Totally agree about Huggins, only thing that let him down slightly is that he hasn't got a left foot. He got into some really good positions but had to check onto his right foot to cross it

I wouldnt be have a CM of Adil pritchard n neil - way too open. Adil n pritchard are no10s so would be too open

Pritchard still more effective off the bench for me

Doesn't look any better for me, looks out of his depth so far. Hemir looks out of his depth alarl mind, but rather we developed our own. Burstow's offered nowt so far.

We played ok a couple of chances should have been buried but after 80 minutes it had that horrible feeling of a smash and grab. Hume a couple of late mistakes. Should 09 have done better on the corner I couldn't see it clearly.

Shame but we will play worse and win.

    Football eh?

Still early days for them both, we've played that long without a proper no9 it will take everyone time to adjust.

Burstow reminds me of james Vaughan. That's a bad thing.

I would think everyone could mate, but that’s just the nature of the game, it probably happens with every club, so no big deal we will learn and go and batter Shef Wed on Friday <cheers>

Haven't seen a massive amount of Aouchiche admittedly but I reckon he could play as an 8 with Neil sitting in. Certainly against Sheff Wed anyway who are very ****.

They are awful but cant take them lightly and go too attacking minded

The games ive watched Adil hes either a no10 or played wider. Neil would be so isolated with him and pritchard alongside him

Im hoping that ekwah is fit as we got do with his physicality against them

Burstow is just not ready, he is a shy lad but we need one of the others to step up.
