stop that easy, no players within the 6 yard box for corners/free kicks, man utd had three players stood right in front of the keeper and one just stayed there and kept hold of him...along with arms round players, free kick to defence or penalty to the attack, so much could and should be done to help the game rather than to hinder it.

 

I thought I'd seen that somewhere but I assumed I'd imagined it, seemed too ridiculous to be true.

well there you go, how the hell was that a hand ball (luton v wolves)...the ball was hammered at him from close range, the ball hit his leg and shot straight up to hit his arm above his head, no chance of taking control of the ball or really changing it's direction, shocking decision.

I imagine that those charges will disappear. We've already seen that the Government are prepared to get involved when it comes to Middle Eastern nations' involvement in English football and we've already seen that the Premier League will buckle under pressure.
