Apparently their owner has a track record of buying clubs then running them so badly that they fold. They've done it in China and Belgium and right now Reading look like going the same way. They've lost over £146 million in thf last five years and each of the last three seasons they've had points deductions. Yet the EFL do nothing about him owning and probably destroying Reading
Norwich conceded 6, Ipswich and Watford 3, Southampton 2 ... ... we could really clock up some goals this season.
This is why there needs to be an independent regulator. Clubs, and communities to an extent, are being destroyed. **** the EFL, absolute waste of space. I'd suggest getting the government involved but they will do **** all after the way they have let some of the current owners of PL clubs in and then this will decend into a politics thread when it's a footy thread. Hope Reading survive as a club but they may have to do it in L2

All for supporting their protest, but wish they wouldn’t release balloons, only ever end up in the sea, rivers, lakes etc…
Ipswich and Preston were nothing Flash against us and without a bit of bad luck we could have been walking away with at least a point in both!
From Southampton's 'Martin out' thread ... ... not from today's game but I expect it could apply to most "He’s an idiot. I can’t believe they’ve managed to find someone that could make us even worse. Absolutely gutless, pathetic, clueless, embarrassing, abysmal team. Wrong line up, wrong tactics just unimaginably awful."
I think Southampton could do with someone at the helm who could 'dust wassels down and go again'. Oh, that would be magnificent.
They weren't even looking at the right frame when the ball was kicked. What the hell is going on. It needs sacking off ASAP.
Just gave the right decision. I’m amazed, was adamant that it would be no goal because 100 passes before the goal a player was 1mm offside.
Totally agree, and Sheffield Wednesday are in a similar boat. Foreign owner without a clue destroying a famous old club as he either has no more money or no more interest. It's fans and communities that suffer the most, yet the EFL do nothing, despite waving the new owners through under the "fit and proper person" test. I've no love for Wigan, but look at how they've been treated. Took over by a **** house who put them into administration to win a bet, took over by Arabs with no clue who ran out of money then forced to be sold again in the summer. They have had 4 owners in just over 3 years, each passing the F&PP test, but the penalties don't hig the owners, just the fans, players and local community. An independent regulator is a must and needs real teeth with the power to force owners like that to give up ownership or else more clubs will end up in trouble.
