Good management that Obviously didn’t tell the Plymouth players how much the Norwich squad cost or they’d just have rolled over
Now 5 none, but Norwich have had over 70% possession so that probably means the games fairly even or summat.
i just noticed that. 14 months since he made the odd decision to join them and it's only his fourth premier league start. in 14 months. he's come off the bench 11 times. also 4 starts in the league and fa cups. what a waste.
everton have scored. that'll come as a shock to all concerned. meanwhile, cheltenham have failed to score for the 9th league game in a row, the record is 11. 9 might be the record start to a season. kane's got a hattrick. much easier when you've got a decent team behind you.
Great story about passing it round at the back! https://twitter.com/finishedplayers/status/1705260668402704644?s=46&t=DAxwWj15XaMBwCrrY9gKFQ
everton have now been in the lead against brentford for longer than they've been ahead in any game all season. for 20 minutes and counting. it was the 88th minute when they took the lead in the league cup win against danger club doncaster. in the p.l. game at sheffield united, they were ahead from the 14th minute until the 33rd minute. they went behind in the 45th but equalised in the 55th. ha! i clearly jinxed them - the lead lasted all of 22 minutes! i should also point out that they've not yet taken the lead in a home game, where they've yet to score.
Their only victory that season was a 1-0 home win against Newcastle. Paddy Power paid out on bets for them to be relegated, after just five games played.
Heard, but not checked, that Cheltenham have played 9 & scored none in the League so far this season. Exemplary effort if so.
