The irony is that those are two of the drivers that in theory there is the most consensus on. Just about everyone agrees that Hamilton has lost his head, but has the underlying talent to do better than the last couple of years if he sorts himself out. The disagreements are over how likely he is to sort himself out, and where he would rank against Vettel, Button and Alonso if he did. Just about everyone agrees that Schumacher would have expected to compete for podiums or wins this year when he first came back to the sport, but that this year's car simply isn't capable of doing that. The disagreements are over how good he is compared to Rosberg now, and whether that would change in a better car.
