    It’s the hope.

    This should be the perfect game to get us back on track. Away from home so not the same pressure. Finally against a team low on confidence and on a poor run, and no reason not to play Bedders ant CB and Charles at DM. If we can get the first goal I can see the cloud lifting off the players a bit. If RM ****s around with the starting 11 again though and we don’t get a result…

    On paper, our best midfield is Charles and Downes with Alcaraz in front IMO. Very keen to see that given a chance.

    I’ve been thinking. It seems every manager wants to think different to fans, maybe to justify their position.

    What I propose is that as fans we call for a defence with Charles and a midfield with Arma and Aribo.

    That should do the trick.

    Seven different midfields. Is this another version of the Saints match day lottery? What ever happens, I’m in for a load of abuse on Monday from Boro fans. Some of them are family. If we win, loads of abuse. If we lose, loads of abuse. I vote for Saints winning abuse. I’ve got a thick skin. Need it as a Saints fan. Bring it on.

    Ok it might not have potential for a shed load of goals, but then we have only scored 1 in the last 3 as it is.

    You could also still do all the tippy tappy short passing possession football you want.

    Bring on Fraser, Sulemana and A Armstrong to run at a tired defence later on.

    10 minutes to line up time. Time to see of he is playing Charles in midfield.
    With aribos attacking passes last game I am not opposed to keeping him in. He also rarely lost the ball. Still slooooow as hell though.
