You know when players may have been at a club too long - Cooper and Dallas both on 266 appearances and Ayling on 260 and when you factor in how many games this trio has missed through suspensions and injury and all over 30yo. Ive said on previous occasions, we average close to an injury per game so we best get used to never having close to our full squad available. No idea if that's any worse than any squad these days, I suspect not

My expectation is a good win mate and a draw would be dissapointing. If this team is ever going to be promoted it needs to carry on progressing. We need to carry on with clean sheets and also creating chances and taking them. I still believe the team we had last season is worse than this, so stands to reason we should be near the top of the league soon
That would be great Doc but I'm not going to stress about it if we don't win or get turned over. Too many weekends when my mood has been result dependent and that's not going to happen anymore
Willy might seem small in the field of play, but he's actually much taller than you think! Pity he's out injured.
Saw an interesting piece last night on Billy Sharpe. We sold him for £500k and yet he’s still scoring goals. From 2005 onwards he was averaging a goal every other game and his worst spell was at Leeds but he wasn’t a regular starter and after we sold him he went straight back to scoring goals and even at the end of his career he got the blunts into the premier league and helped them again last season off the bench to promotion again. He’s now in LA and scored 6 from 6
You would think that with Gnonto out for a few weeks the natural replacement would be Dan James, but is it? I like James but it’s turning out to be a waste of money. We paid almost as much as we did for Rodrigo and he has been hardly used and was even out on loan last season just to warm Fulham’s bench. He’s been very good for us so far this season but should have scored some goals from ery good chances and has done some real damage coming off the bench. When you consider what we paid for him we haven't had much payback yet. Other wingers at the club Poveda free, Gnonto £4m, Summerville £1m and we even paid twice the money of what we paid for Raphinha.
