Hull never had a shot on target, We played 30mins with ten men, We are now in the top ten, Another clean sheet, Chin up lads FFS
We would have dominated the 2nd half anyway, it's been the story of our season. It looked that way before the sending off. Coventry last week looked better than your lot and we did it to them. Their fans were 10x better too.
We battered you, it would have been the same second half if we didn't have another ****e ref who didn't have a clue what he was doing..or he probably did, you got your lucky point at home but also more importantly you got your massive payday because the leeds were in town, enjoy it while you can
Get your money on Coventry to finish above Leeds mate. You'll make an absolute fortune. Remortgage your house and everything.
Bit harsh on Cooper. Yes looked rusty, not an ideal time to put him back after fitness issues but made a game changing sliding challenge towards the end.
You do know they were play-off finalists last season, and may have been close to automatics if it wasn't for the issues with not playing at home for the first part of the season? Oh but no, obviously you're going to pish this pathetic league.
We've been a different team second-half in every game we've played this season, I wouldn't have expected any different. It's a shame you didn't keep eleven on the pitch, as it gives you an excuse for your self-pity. I even called us battering you in the last 15 earlier in the thread and am convinced it would have happened either way.
What planet are you on, we were on top the second half even after the red card, your lot only looked dangerous for the last 10 minutes after we tired. We made you look very poor, it speaks volumes when the home keeper was mom
Just watch back the start of the second half when you had eleven on the pitch. Connolly was clean through if it wasn't for the foul for the red.
Firstly the first booking shouldn't have been given IMO(so he wouldn't have been sent off) and secondly if it wasn't for your keeper it may have been a different result. Anyway a good point away and it'll be a bit different at ER...
Half time your stats were 3 shots 0 on target. Exactly the same stats as at the time of the sending off, not really dominant or on top were you.
Clean through on the half way line The first yellow was never a booking, a terrible decision and farcical, were three of your bookings not for professional fouls, shirt pulling when breaking away, blatant cheating. Several times Rutter ended up giving a Hull player a piggy back and nothing was given. It matters not, we’ll be in the top two come the end of the season, you might enjoy the playoffs as despite the lack of any bite up front you looked organised and one of the slightly better teams we’ve played. Pop back to the Hull board now and argue with one of your own, did you know you have a match day thread, you’ll enjoy it as there are several pages of your own fans stating you were fortunate, outplayed and your keeper saved the day so go argue with them at how dominant you felt you were.
I’m having mixed feelings about Rutter, beginning to think he is another Bamford in that he needs a lot of chances to score and worse when the pressure is on. He scored a great goal against Ipswich and it’s all very well smashing the ball in two goals up in the last minute of a game but that’s two one v one’s he’s missed at 0 v 0 when it really matters so we could be four points better off.
You do know they’ve lost lost their two best players, you do realise they’ve won one game this season.
If it was the opposing team would you be critical of the attacker or would you be singing the praise of Meslier. Their keeper played well, Bamford would have probably blazed over or shot wide, he probably wouldn’t have controlled it in the first place. Rutter is 21 he was head and shoulders above Piroe yesterday, let’s give him some slack, he’s work in progress
I think the last 3 games have shown us what's quite possibly in store for this season, brilliant at times, bloody frustrating at others. Better finishing and we've have had 9 points not 5 but a few teams supporters will possibly be saying the same. We're creating chances which is step one, now we just need a bit more composeur to be finishing them off. I think that's the third time already this season that the opposing keeper as been motm. I'm looking at it as a 2 season project, anything near auto's will be a great achievement this season, especially with the **** show Farke inherited.
Issue is with a 2 season project that we’ll lose Gnoto, Summervillle, Ampadu & possibly Piroe plus we’ll lose Rodon, Spence & Anthony so will be another rebuild.
Never been a pathetic league ,probably more competitive than a lot of many countries top divisions which are usually the same suspects who win them...your keeper was mom so take the point and be relatively pleased
