Good luck for the season. What id give for a manager like McKenna that actually knows what he’s doing. He was suggested a lot by saints fans as a potential manager here. His record is obviously better than Martin’s so I have no idea why we didn’t try. Maybe he wouldn’t have left your project anyway though. As the post above said, you remind me of us when we got our double promotion. Solid, do the basics well, defend well score when you have to. Everything we aren’t.
We were saying on the way home that you have good players easily good enough for the Championship and should be top 6 come April, but somethings not right with them from their performances up to now, has R M lost the dressing room, are some senior players not putting in a shift, or is it just bad management ? You have the players and the support to do well but it needs big decisions with regards to players, coaching, and management, see you at Portman Road.
