In summary very enjoyable performance. Very tense at times but hats off dug deep and a massive three points

To be fair he would struggle to make the bench in a third squad of 20.

It's absolutely unreal when you set it out like that. I'd genuinely expect that team to finish top half.

"Jack Clarke is a very good player, but Sunderland are otherwise an average side that capitalised on our physical and mental tiredness. Fair play to the much-maligned Mowbray, but this defeat sucks."

This from a Blackburn forum...I know we all watch our teams through rose tinted glasses, but even the most biased fan cannot say that and mean it. We must be one of the most entertaining teams to watch right now

For 20 minutes they were all over us, after that I thought we bossed them

Travelled down to Headingley for the cricket. Raining 1st thing, headed to a pub for breakfast/Guinness. 1 hour, became 2, became 5. Game abandoned, head into Leeds for a few more. In a pub with the Man Utd game on, me and my mate watch our game on my phone and we soon joined by a couple of daft Leeds supporting lads who cheered our goals as loudly as they cheered Bayern's :emoticon-0140-rofl:

At least I get a full refund on my ticket which probably paid for most of the beers yesterday

The three reasons we won that much were Patterson, Ballard and their awful finishing.

No doubt we rode our luck in the first half and but for great defending we would have had an issue. But this season to say Sunderland are an "average" side is a little harsh and smacks of sour grapes. But...just my opinion

After the first 20 minutes, I’d have taken a draw. Great resilience and a great performance.

The midfield battle was a key area and Neil and Jobe deserve a lot of credit for winning it. Credit to the whole team. We look really well-drilled and the players fight to the end for each other. Not to mention all of the ability in the side.

Even the lad writing that doesn't believe it. We picked them apart at time like we have most teams this season. Credit to Blackburn they did the same at times, difference is we scored 3 more time when we did it!

They're all over the place on their forums, really hysterical.

One is claiming we spent huge amounts on our players ... £10m for Clarke, £4m for Jobe.

    And then there's this freak,

"Jack Clarke has an exceedingly punchable face. Hope he finds the fists that mug deserves.

I am especially annoyed to lose to a poxy club like these. Their fans were ****ting themselves and silent for most of the game and their players looked utterly bamboozled."

Yes they were robbed but it's their fault for leaving their back door wide open <laugh>

If we're a "poxy club" are they even relevant?
