Thought we were well on top under Jones's rick which nearly caused a goal... after that we went to pieces. Connolly gets flattened In the back midway in their half. Instead of slowing it down , getting the big lads up, Coyle takes the free about 10 years back form where the foul was passes it to JG who's immediately under pressure back to Allsop... (who has been excellent BTW)

It was tight except the breakaway which they should have scored from. If that happens again can't complain if we lose. Leeds were given such opportunities at Millwall and won 3-0. The defenders were back just not across the pitch were the Leeds players ran.

Not sure what game you've been watching but without Alsop we could be 3 or 4 down, the game of passing it backwards when on the edge of their box isn't gonna cause em too many problems. We need to be braver, and get some guile in there to pass through their press

And the other thing, with Coyle playing left, in receiving the ball from Allsop or JG he's facing his own goal, all he can really do is hook it around the corner... square pegs square holes...

I literally said those exact words.

We're not going to completely shut out a team that's just come down from the Premier League.

Leeds are well drilled and have very good defenders, we're passing it around to open up space. It's patience that's needed, from the fans and the players.

We haven't laid a glove on them because they aren't passing it around, they're passing it backwards 85% of the time then getting flustered into mistakes as they press up. You suggested we are playing some good stuff and mostly playing well, I have to disagree, the longer the half went on the more we were hanging on, fingers crossed for a much improved performance 2nd half.

Think we need to bring Delap back into the centre and play Connolly and Philogene either side.
    Also Tufan on for Twine.

I agree, we need to beef up the attack and not sweat the opposition, but we're confidently keeping the ball, we just need to do more with it.
