Also just heard that Leon Britton got sucked down the plughole when he was having a bath last night and is now trapped in the U-bend. The fire brigade say it's unlikely they'll get him out in time for the game on Saturday.

The trivia stats are interesting in that we`ve never lost at home in 8 outings to them. I think that might very well change tomorrow. When they`re on form, they are scintillating. Let`s hope they are rubbish tomorrow & we can pull off the first big shock of the season !

Big test again for the boys to see how good they are & how they perform. Can`t wait for the game.

Would you boys be happy with a point from tomorrows game or do you want / expect more considering you are at home ?

I hope we can get a 2-1 win but I think we might get a draw - which shows the respect you have earnt since coming up to the Premiership and also whilst in the Championship ( I've seen you a few times when I've taken the kids to watch Donny Rovers v Swansea ).

Good luck for the rest of the season ( apart from the weekend and the return game )

 

this will be a good game at home to monitor just how far we have come, Man utd are most peoples choice as the best team in the world whether you love hem or hate them and one thing you cant argue with is they have the best manager in the world, As long as we do our utmost best and give these giants a good game then i would be happy, I will be ecstatic if we can get any sort of a result but i feel they will just be that little to good for us and that is no shame when you look how far we have come over the years. Its been reported that all hotels,guest houses are fully booked with united fans which is great news for Swansea economy.....enjoy the day as its a very special day.....

Hi, KingEric, In all honesty most of us are not expecting anything from this game although I did vote for us on a poll - heart before head and that sort of thing.

It's not beyond the bounds of reason that we could win. Unlikely but possible. Personally I would be delighted with a draw but, above all, I hope that we compete and play the way that we can play. If that happens the game should be a cracker and I would accept a loss. More than anything I'm looking to see how far we have come on as a team and, if we give a good account of ourselves, irrespective of the result, I will face the rest of the season with renewed confidence in our ability to stay up.

 

Good thread scott. Unsure about the man united line up though. Cleverly is still out. Guess have to wait and seen

 

Great thread Scotty, well done once again, hope these silly rumours regarding Allen are just that, as there is nothing official, so now to the match, I'm going for a 2-1 win to Swansea, though I'll concede this is likely to turn out to be a 1-1 draw, which I'll take, but I do think that this game is a game we can get something from, not just because we are at home, but like Liverpool, I don't see this Manu team as strong as years gone by, so now to the big question, how many Manu fans will be in the home end aye?................

Really ? Think Blackpool gave you a run for your money last season, and our game tomorrow won't be the run of the mill game you think, we may well lose but we are a different kettle of fish, and won't go belly up at the chance of playing you!

I am sure fergy won't be taking the swans as lightly as you.

 

If any of our fans are stupid enough to try and get in your end with our colours on then they deserve to be refused entry.

I highly doubt SAF will be taking the game lightly

 

fergie is class and im sure he has done his homework on us just as our Brendan as done on them.......its going to be a corker....still think united will win though as they have quality all the way through the side, I hope the ref is fair and lady luck is on our side tomorrow......

KingEric, I think they were referring to OUR fans!! There's a lot of Man Utd supporters down here (support Swans as well) and the word is a number of them bought season tickets primarily for this game. Many of them will also have bought "one off" tickets for the game.

On another day they will support the Swans but for this game they will be Reds. Their prerogative so long as they wear white in the home stands.

 

Oh, AND keep quiet!!!!!!
