Thing is you have to have Haaland. And you just might as well captain him every week unless real standout option. At least 75% of people that have him will captain him so on the chances he does have a good weekend you’re relying on your choice to have a better one to get value. If not Then you lose points on the majority of the league. It’s a bit like selecting a template 11. You can’t win it by doing it as if everyone has good week then everyone does well. But if you try and be too different you can quickly fall behind. Does it make it boring? Maybe.. and this was my point around they need to reclassify what a forward is to offer more diversity. Salah rashford aren’t midfielders. They’re forwards. Make those players forwards and suddenly you don’t get the same 6/7 midfielders in every team cos you actually have to have more varied teams where people decide if they want a front 3 of Saka Haaland rashford and then cheaper midfielders where there’s more variety.
I'd rather the Gooners be losing but my players are doing the business and hopefully justifying me captaining Saka.

i ended up with both . Originally had Kane not Saka and that transfer actually happening ****ed my team up as i also had Maddison and suddenly had to swop them out .
Relatively happy with first 3 weeks. Set the team up with those 3 games in mind and did ok. Few shocks and few disappointments. Arsenal and United looking iffy so the double up on martinelli/Saka and rashford/Bruno didn’t quite work, albeit the 3/4 got points this weekend. Decided to go for wildcard early (now we get 2 to use) with United arsenal playing each other and Brighton some tough couple games (plus Pedro being in and out of team). Couple of following the form options now in the team in sterling/Maddison. Maddison was close to going in from day 1, but wasn’t sure how would cope without Kane but looking a threat. Sterling been a real surprise and looks too good with Chelsea’s fixtures.
