    I’ve been listening to a lot of Irish folk music lately and came across this gem on YouTube.

    Pete St John’s wake and some musicians singing one of his songs, the bloke getting upset gets me every time.

    Always thought this was a good tune with a bit of whimsy attached! Broke a few speakers playing it anyway! Mind might be playing tricks but pretty sure guy out of KLF was big part of The Orb too, Jimmy something (channeling 90s spirit and resisting temptation to use Google for everything <cheers>)
    Kicks in properly about 5 minutes in maybe Edit-Funny thing is it never kicks on listening on me laptop cos the frequency is too low so basically edits the whole dub aspect out haha!

    ... from the original to the million cheesy cover versions.

    But I was sent this by an old friend who was at Newport ...

    ..... all of a sudden it's magnificent, moving and profound.

    It's not usually my kind of thing but, wow.
