I think the only thing in Rm’s favour right now is most of us would have picked that side with the options available. Desperately missing Jack Stephens. Desperately need Charles at DM. After the first game my 13 year old said, why do people like that Smallbone? He looked awful to me. He was right and I was wrong. We still play like a 5 at the back wingback team. Coach them to play the system!!!
Yeah it’s way too early, and with too many injuries to be getting *too* worried about RM just yet. But…
Whether we're in transition or not, conceding 8 goals in one and a half games is diabolical and completely unacceptable.
I have no problem with Adarma, think he has been having a good game and setting the tempo with his workrate. I would sub KWP at HT for a player who can defend. We cannot continue to split mark in the midfield, its like we aren't there at all and they are just playing through manequins at the moment. The dizzy crossbar challenge thats going on it more entertaining.
Yeah.. I don’t get nj vibes where he’s instantly the wrong fit. But wow this is so naive. Considering he was a defender he doesn’t seem to value controlling the midfield or defending at all
I like Russell a lot but his MK and Swansea sides were exactly the same and he never solved it there either. I’m concerned
We’ve been worked out, a simple press and our players arent good enough to play out so give the ball away 30m from goal. Once that happens everyone is out of position leaving huge gaps
Distribution is greta, but conceding so many. I know the fault lays with others, but he doesn't make enough of those 'oh wow' type of saves that other keepers do. Only saves the basic shots straight at him. Didn't even seem to stretch his arms out for the first goal. He's still way down the list of problems though.
We should back RM through the good and bad but the last 3 halves of football have been worse than NJ served up
We haven’t conceded 8 goals, Tom. We have gift wrapped them and handed them out with mince pies and a glass of sherry.
Don’t see any of the goals today as down to him, and he’s made a couple of decent saves too. He is a bit of a problem, but not (yet) today.
It's a real shame because I like the guy and thought/hoped he'd do well, but there's no way he's going to last until Christmas. His philosophy just doesn't work with the players we have. A real shame
No, it’s not. But a touch of unpredictable quality might help up (other than Edozie, who is having a good game).
Just got in to watch the highlights of first half. Unbelievably naive defending on the goals so far, and judging our performance so far, there's going to be more from Leicester.
