The fun thing here: a US Court of Appeals found the statutes under which he has been charged to be unconstitutional a couple months back. It wasn't a national injunction however, but given that there is a good chance that case ends up before SCOTUS (which is very, very favourable to gun rights), the indictment might have to be withdrawn before trial because what he did ceases to be illegal, heh.
I have been fascinated by the story in today's papers about the Russian attack on one of our spy aircraft over the Black Sea last year. It would have been tested the resolve of both our government and NATO is the plane had been brought down. I think that our government would have protested vociferously but ultimately not taken an further military action. I am not sure if NATO would have been quite so reserved. Ukraine is no longer quite the underdog and , backed by the West, I am sure that there are some in NATO (such as aggressive countries such as Poland who need to be reined in) who would have preferred a more retaliatory response. Luckily neither missile presented a problem and the whole incident has been brushed under the carpet for the best part of 12 months and a major disaster has been averted. I have been surprised that th British press have been remiss in asking what an RAF plane was doing over the Black Sea at the time and whether the information it was gathering was specifically used by the Ukranians against the Russians. Without doubt Russia is the reckless and dangerous party who has solely brought about the current hostilies yet i feel NATO has had a role in making the Russians feeling threatened by Western encroachment. I just feel that NATO is not helping the matter and probably making things far worse.
This is enlightening, Hunter Biden going on the offensive against the GOP about hard drive tampering... Steve Bannon admits on it that they altered data.
Indeed. I don’t know how to explain it, but that’s what happened. My guess is that many people in government hate trump that much that they did all they can to prevent him being re-elected. If you see him as a “threat to democracy” then it justifies these actions in their head. How else can you explain it? We know the laptop is real. And we know they lied about it and called it Russian disinformation. And we know they knew it was real when they said that
Sorry to be all forensic but your response to "what crime Joe Biden committed" is "colluding with foreign officials and selling state secrets". Joe Biden. Do you have a link to just one source for this claim? I've genuinely never heard a peep about this. If that's because I just follow the mainstream media I'm keen to find out. Vin
The obvious alternative explanation is that they found the laptop to have been tampered with (it was), and consequently could not trust anything on it without extensive forensic examination. Data was copied on to and off of the drive, items were added, etc. So while there was verifiable data on there, it took months of combing through it file by file to identify what could be verified and what could not.
Meanwhile the entire time they called it Russian disinformation and actively pretended it wasn’t real. No matter how good your mental gymnastics are, you can’t justify any of this behaviour. As i said, if trump had done the same thing you would be all over it saying how terrible it is
There are at least two pieces of direct evidence of Joe Biden's corruption. 1. On video, Joe Biden admitted to coercing Ukraine into firing the prosecutor investigating Hunter. 2. Hunter's WhatsApp message to a Chinese official that his father was sitting next to him during a shakedown. Every time Democrats and their puppets in the corrupt corporate media say there is no direct evidence they are lying. Also not proof of crime but leaked audio of him discussing Ukraine: https://x.com/rhowardbrowne/status/1548107111061540864?s=46
I asked for sources but no matter. On 1, Joe Biden withheld a loan guarantee to pressure Ukraine into removing the prosecutor who was seen as corrupt and failing to clean up Ukrainian corruption - i.e. because he wasn't being tough enough in investigating, not because he was getting close to anything. He did it in accordance with the official and bipartisan policy of the United States, the European Union, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. 2. Source? And, additionally, do you have evidence that Joe Biden was, in fact, sitting next to Hunter? Or does it sound like the kind of thing a drug addicted and disturbed individual like Hunter Biden's might have tossed off in passing?
My dude, you are alleging that Trump did it. You're just alleging that Trump did it on behalf of Biden. The FBI investigated whether it was the work of foreign actors because i) according to the forensics people who examined it, even a cursory look showed that it had been heavily modified, and ii) that is a thing that had repeatedly happened, and iii) the story (that it was a laptop dropped off by someone who might or might not be Hunter Biden, because the legally-blind computer technician who had possession of it couldn't tell) was juuuuust a bit curious.
And in the absence of a source, I've done some digging on your behalf (I know you like detailed evidence). Hunter Biden's lawyer: "Lowell writes that the screenshots of the message as tweeted by Smith, “both include a photo of Mr. Biden not from 2017 but from the White House Easter Egg roll in April 2022 (long after the purported message was sent); both images portray the message in a blue bubble, when WhatsApp messages are in green; one image super-imposed the Chinese flag for the contact ID, when surely that was not how a text or contact was kept; and one purports to be a screenshot with the '. . .' of someone composing a text (as in Apple’s iMessage) when that does not happen on WhatsApp.” Source: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna92065 And, even if that proves to be nonsense: I once said to a school friend that if he didn't stop clumping me my dad would beat his dad up. Didn't mean I was telling the truth.
I genuinely care about the truth of what I say so I've had an even deeper dig. So here's a final set of facts before we draw a conclusion: i know you won't read it so I'll summarise. There was an investigation into corruption at Burisma. It was an investigation into activities before Hunter Biden joined them and was dormant at the time that Joe Biden pressed for the anti-corruption chief to be sacked for lack of effort. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-whistleblower-ukraine-buris-idUSKBN1WC1LV Vin
I read it but ultimately it proves nothing. No criminal is going to admit to their corruption are they? Lol. Did Biden press to get him replaced because he wanted someone more friendly to himself? Who knows. Hopefully the truth will come out. I hope it is fake because if the president is actually as corrupt as it appears then it’s terrible.
She seems the type of candidate ideally chosen to lose the election. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/susan-hall-tory-mayoral-candidate-liked-tweet-praising-enoch-powell-ht
You clearly did not read it. How do I know? You drew the conclusion that it relies on Joe Biden's word. There is no comment in that article that even remotely refers to comment from Joe Biden. Key phrase that you didn't read '..Ukraine’s anti-corruption investigation agency said.' So it's not a denial by Joe Biden is it? Please do feel free to say "I was wrong".
Also, to head off the inevitable "it's a cover-up!", note the timing: Ukraine's government said that in 2019, when Trump was president, and when the Ukrainians were trying everything in their power to stay on the good side of the Trump administration because they knew that a full-scale Russian invasion was a distinct possibility. They had absolutely no reason to lie about it.
You both know logic and common sense together with factual information from verifiable sources is water off the proverbial ducks back. Pissing in the wind comes to mind. Have a good weekend chaps, we're off for a couple of weeks on an ouzo, retsina and seafood diet.
Summary: I've taken you at your word and investigated each of the claims you've made. Because I'm prepared to be wrong and I hate that more than almost anything in life. You claim Joe Biden stopped an investigation into Burisma to protect Hunter. In fact there was no investigation in progress. I've posted proof that there had been one but it was before Hunter Biden joined Burisma (confirmed by the Ukrainians - not as you suggest, by Joe Biden). I've also posted evidence that the sacking of the anti-corruption chief was at the instigation of the World Bank, both sides of the US political divide and the EU. It wasn't Joe Biden intervening, it was the world. And it was because the guy wasn't investigating corruption with enough vigour. Your other claim is that Joe Biden was sitting next to Hunter Biden when he tried to squeeze funds out of a Chinese businessman. Your evidence is that the drug-addicted son of Joe Biden, a man with known mental health issues, told the Chinese businessman that his dad was sitting next to him in a WhatsApp message. Your conclusion: Joe Biden colluded with foreign officials and sold state secrets. I'm sorry, but you can colour me unconvinced. If you have anything more likely to be convincing to post by all means go ahead but so far... Vin
Lots of rumours about that the Chechnyan warlord, Kadyrov, has gone to meet his maker. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke, but could make things potentially even more sticky out there.
