Thanks. I noticed a link on the same page saying he's now training away from the first team until the issues are resolved. Don't like that. I remember Rodgers making Suarez train alone. To me that says the manager isn't managing. It's like putting a child on the naughty step. Abdication of duty.
I'm not convinced ten Hag knows any managerial technique beyond strict authoritarianism. Players are all different, and managers have to tread a fine line balancing carrot and stick to get the best out of them. That's why very few are capable of great things.
I'm not sure what is going on in United. They've had plenty of high profile managers with great careers before their United days. They've spent lots of money on very talented individuals. Yes, they've overspent on some crap players, but they've had players come and underperform who are clearly not bad players, they just play bad once they touch toes on Salford soil. United's problems are similar to ours in the 90's... they're weaker than the sum of their parts and just like with us in the 90s, I'm convinced the problem is cultural. I was worried about the Hag bringing discipline back to United and returning them to being a challenger and for a while it looked like he would... fortunately he has run off the wheels like all his predecessors. The amusing thing is, I think if they had stuck with Moyes for another season they probably would have been in a better place than they are today. Moyes's immediate successors did worse than he did and I think the "losing mentality and culture" allowed to settle into the club. There seems to be an air of acceptance at United that their glory days are in the past.
Ten Hag has in effect ended sancho's utd career. He has accused the player of training poorly and was called out by the player for telling porkies. He has not made it impossible for himself to "assess" the player's reaction in training by forcing him out of the camp. In effect he's broken the cardinal rule of dealing with this in house, made it public then punished the player for following suit. I'm loving it as he is also shorn of Anthony(dog who chases his own tail round in circles but briefly stopped to bite someone and is now getting put down) If he'd just dealt with matters in house he could turn to sancho now and work with him but his attitude has done for that. It reminds me of Mourinho pillorying Shaw constantly. Mourinho didn't last long but the rotund left full who can't hold position is still at utd. Any lower half prem club should be knocking at the door in janaury looking for a loan with 75% of wages paid and trying it on massively. his wages are eye watering.
he reminds me of a little dog we had that was only the size of the ball so he's run about it trying to bite it and never got anywhere. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...tony-skill-substitution-ten-hag-b2212482.html he'd spin round that football for hours then collapse panting madly.
Can’t remember the exact detail but some of the people in charge of that consortium have some proper dodgy pasts and allegations being made again them, plus some spent convictions. Be interesting if they pass the fit and proper test
ffp cannot be wiped. they are paper excerises actual debt can be wiped as part of the sale process or taken on by new owners. moshiri wants his own funds back. I sincerely doubt he gives a toss about Everton debt.
