Might have been reading too much into it but AP dropped a little hint that Sammy Ameobi will be heavily involved tom. Starter on right?#NUFC

There's no shame in losing to City, as long as we go out and give it a good effort I'll be happy!

Wouldn't be happy with that, Simmo will need cover.

Obertan is definitely out of the match as well. So options are Santon, Ben Arfa, Guthrie, Gosling, Sameobi/Gutierrez, or Raylor.

  8. Well to be quite honest I don't know what the **** people are on about when they say Sammy doesn't help in defense. He played a good part in our defense vs Everton in the last 20 mins, and he tracked back quite well for England at times.

I'd personally play Raylor RM and Santon LB, but I'd have no problem with Sammy starting.

Anything but Gosling RM for christ sake.

May seem a bit renegade but I wouldn't be adverse to starting Santon on the right wing. He'll provide good cover for Simmo and a bit of solidity. Sammy would be too much of a risk for me, as would HBA.

  10. I said that, but people kept on saying that playing him in too many different positions will ruin him.

I think you must have been watching different games to me! I'd go Santon if Obertans out.

Safe to say we might actually get a good stream for once with us playing top of the league?

I am unsure if Sammy will be fully fit... He did play his part in two Eng U-21 games this past week... I'd rather it be Santoon or Benny

City have had 19 players away on international duty... take that on board with the traveling and they could be a little slower than usual tomorrow, maybe something is on the cards.

I'd play Raylor at RM & Santon at LB, Santon trains with the defenders everyday. I know people don't want to change the back 4 because we've done well but come on, Raylor is only ever going to be a makeshift LB. We have "the next Paolo Maldini" to come in at LB let's just get on with it and play him there.

Great. We need pace up front and he clearly has none.

Don't **** with the best back five in the league.

Play a winger on the wing. There's a choice of 2. I'd pick Sammi
