Bellingham is a very good player, but overpriced like most players these days. If Moses Caicedo costs Chelsea £M115 ,
who I'm to say that Bellingham is not in the region of £M100 plus?.

Dortmund must feel short changed tbh. Based on the fees paid after they’d sold him, he’d be worth £200m today

Bellingham is a great player, I would have loved him to come to Liverpool, and I think we had a dog in the fight for sure.

The problem is, whereas we probably could have afforded Bellingham (at least after our summer clear-cut) he would have been all we could afford and we clearly needed more than one midfielder.

What's the point of getting Bellingham if he has to play with Jones, Elliot and Fabio C. every week? (Not bashing those players, they're young, good and improving, but clearly we're not going to win much if we had to rely on them as our top midfielders today).

Don’t get going off on a big rant about saving face? You can still be gutted that player isn’t playing for lfc while also being pleased another is.

Pleased szobo looks good. Still would have loved seeing Bellingham for us in same way I’d have loved suarez to stay for another 5 years

Suarez has been the best player to wear a Liverpool shirt. In my personal opinion.

Plenty of time. He'll be forty one day, and the goals might start drying up by then so a new career could be on the cards.

In the same way Pep claimed City had been cleared of financial irregularities because whoever compiled the case against them got the dates wrong.

    Trent Alexander-Arnold*,
    Joe Gomez*
    Ibrahima Konate
    Joel Matip
    Virgil van Dijk
    Andy Robertson
    Kostas Tsimikas

    Thiago Alcantara
    Wataru Endo
    Alexis Mac Allister
    Curtis Jones*
    Dominik Szoboszlai

    Luis Diaz,

    Darwin Nunez
    Diogo Jota
    Mohamed Salah
    Paul Glatzel*

We've managed 22 players with addition of 2 players who won't get anywhere near a first team squad.

The u21s like Elliott, bajcetic, doak, Clark, quansah don't count in seniors and can be played at any time.this also means graven each doesn't actually count here as foreign until next year

Im old enough to remember both Keegan and Kenny in their prime. My dad went to his deathbed claiming Liddell was the best he'd ever seen in a red shirt, but my dad was biased as he'd played with him in the RAF during the war.

I’m too young to remember them but what I do know is Suarez was a complete magician. He was so special that he didn’t need pace.

I wonder if we're keeping tabs on Bellingham minor. He looks to be in the same mold as his brother.

You and I have several things in common and this is another one. My dad (love him, miss him) was in the RAF too but he didn't play football, he boxed.

I can remember as far back as Ian St. John and Roger Hunt. We've had so many great players down the years - all immensely talented individuals of course, but they still worked best as part of a team.
Football being the game it is, no player is a one-man-band, but Suarez was the closest to it I've seen at our club.
He couldn't do it all on his own, but he'd bloody well kill himself trying.
Pity he was a knob - and that we were only a stepping stone to Spain for him.
