Oh I'm sure... More or less. Think first season was first book and this season is the second book. Although looking at the different ways Dune has been redone over the years, you can take the same story and make it seem dull or exciting when converting it to screen. I sold lots of the books when I was in uni, but never read them. They were hugely popular back then.
It picks up from Star trek rebels which has to be watched to understand how the hell any of this made any sense. Its just a pity they didn't actually tie in to some movie as Lucas never had ashoka in mind in either the original 3 movies nor the 3 terrible prequels. Theres only a couple of characters missing from the cartoon by the look of things.
Feels like they actually did it right with this one compared to the Obi series. Nifty space whales ...saying no more.
Dispatches Channel 4 tomorrow night. They have a documentary which they have not publicised and no one knows what it is about, lots of theories it is going to be a big reveal of a famous person(s), the Times are also supposed to be publishing something at 3pm tomorrow which is apparently linked to the programme. Probably a load of hype about some Z list celebrity, but you never know.
Saw he was protesting his innocence in the media, and emphasising that everyone he slept with was consenting.
Confirmed it's Brand https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-66831593 His career has down turned since those dates being mentioned. Perhaps there was a reason for that.
It has been estimated that 2% of rape accusations are false accusations. The odds of someone being accused of rape by four different women and them all being fake is therefore 0.000016% Obviously, Brand being famous he's more likely to be falsely accused than a random Joe, so his percent chance of being innocent is maybe a little higher. Don't want to call him guilty without a trial but odds aren't good. Brand is a right weirdo and a conspiracy theory nut too! (Not that that makes him guilty).
Tar. 5/10 3hours of nothing really. It takes ages to get going and then doesn't actually get going at all. The first hour an a half is literally her talking to people and occasionally conducting an orchestra. The key point in the film happens with about 30mins left and is so tame that you could be forgiven for missing it and wondering why the comeuppance ending is actually happening. Its a well made film and Cate Blanchett does her usual stuff but it was way overrated film that only got some buzz so that critics and the like could show how highbrow they are. Perhaps if they cut out all the non-relevant parts, made it a 90ish min film and made the twist point more brutal there could have been a good film.
I watched the Beckham series over the last few days, decent watch but no new revelations. However, I've seen clips where he's sat around a table with Carra, Neville, Keane, Scholars, etc talking about his career and this wasn't in the series. Where can I find this? Any ideas?
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey What can I say about this film? Great acting! Great effects! Excellent and deep plot! Best film ever! What can I say about this film? The answer is, none of the above.
I'll give it a serve, I've had it downloaded on my Sky box for a while now but wasn't sure about it..
Season two of Wheel of Time really was excellent! Shame you have to watch the first season first to understand what's going on. Of course, Lanfear is partially what made it so good!
I got to the end episode and the final episode is a massive pay off for sticking with it. I do have to say that they could have done this in 5 series not 2 if they really developed the characters more
That was part of what people were complaining about with S1. That they were spending too much time of character development instead of story and that it was a bit boring. Seems they went the other way with S2, sped up the story to make it more exciting. There is plenty more story to come, there's like 14 books in the series.
