Given the apparent decline of Jadon Sancho at Man Utd if in Jan we could get him out of there on a loan or a good deal would you take him? RWF is a position we need someone in. He clearly had some talent and I'm assuming that Eddie would be much more likely to get the best out of him Vs that weirdo ETH. He was mint at Dortmund so maybe just needs a new start and better environment. It's obviously not quite right at Man Utd in general.
Think his attitude has been called out a few times now so doubt EH would want such a character. However I do believe EH would get him to his Dortmund best and his actual stats for Manchester United are actually not bad
I would take him yes. I think he’s a good player. But as a lot of players do they fail at manu because they think they have made it. Can play either side.
I wouldn't be against it. Think ETH is a bit of a knob. Clearly has talent, but I think is far too risky for Eddie Howe. He's all of a sudden going from chasing Harvey Barnes and Livramento to Sancho? Never going to happen. We wouldn't even go for Diaby in spite of being in dire need in that position.
All day every day - Over Murphy and Almiron on the right? How could you not? Yes, there's a question mark against him in regards to his attitude at present but A) he'll learn from what's happening currently B) sometimes you need a fresh start - was class at Dortmund from 17-21 years old scoring at a rate of better than 1 in 3. 21-23y/o at Man U he's dropped off and back at a rate of nearly 1 in 8. Not getting the game time he wants (for whatever reason) and feels unappreciated so he's never going to be performing at his peak. You look at the talent Dortmund produce - Haarland, Bellingham, Dembele, Gotze, Aubamayang they all go on and do well. Heard rumors he's been consistently late in and has made to be in an hour earlier than the rest of the squad - Ten Haag dropped Rashford for being a minute late so it could be true - but ETH seems like a "rule with an iron fist" type manager where maybe all Sancho needs is that arm around the shoulder - Eddie knows about all the squads families etc so may be a better working relationship to get more out of Sancho. But back to my original point Almiron/Murphy or Sancho? Love both our lads but it's apples and pears.
Looks like he'd be a body poppin, weird dance in the dressing room type **** like Lingard. Thus, my senses say avoid.
Fair enough, personally not heard about any other issues - just the current stuff but I've never really followed his career closely and in all honesty if you are someone who's usually running late it's a regular/lifelong thing that you are late for everything, always.
I am fairly sure that Eddie, JT and the rest of the squad could get him back on track. If I was Sancho I'd be all over a move to us if we were interested. I reckon our playing style would suit him if he got his head screwed on and took the opportunity. In many ways he is right on profile for the type of player we have been looking at. In theory we know he is WAY more clinical in attacking positions than anyone else we have out on the right.
Yes! In a heartbeat. Regardless of his supposed issues he is a massive upgrade on what we have on the right.
He’s said that doesn’t want to play RW as wants to play on the left apparently. Also awful training and time keeping
Dortmund produced how much of that talent? 1 of them .They bought the rest who were all considered golden childs.Yes they developed them but they never produced them.
Serious ****ing attitude, likely to think he's above everyone else, in a Barton esque way.... obviously massively better than Barton, but I don't like the idea of taking a chance with someone who's been locked out cos of their attitude.
It's a no for me because it would cost too much money, remember Lindgard and manure looking for £18m for a 6 month loan, can imagine him costing similar **** that you'd buy 2 good players for that and anyway they wouldn't let him come here if we are doing well.
I hope he stays there. I like what Sancho's doing at Man U. Between him, Antony and Maguire, they're really helping my mood.
What's the point in signing Sancho on loan when all our new signings spend 6 months on the bench before being deemed worthy of a sub appearance?
