Southgate is a ****ing moron. Not an England fan, but the England squad is probably top 3 in europe right now and should be winning competitions. Italy and Spain are in the doldrums right now, Germany aint much better. Only really Argies and France who have comparable squad to England. I think he’d be capable of playing in the right system. A team that plays deep and doesn’t try to piss about at the back. He’s painful to watch on the ball and slower than Duggie. For West Ham he’d have probably done well but United wouldn’t subsidise the wages I think. Everton too but he’d probably see that as beneath him. The loyalty Southgate shows to him though when we’ve got promising defenders coming through and Dunk in form is just silly and uses up a lot of credit with fans.
