Unlucky for Suarez this was said/or implied to a member of the most media loved team in the country so I think he'll take a hit from the F.A just to make an example of him. JT's incident will be brushed under media carpet (it's filthy under there) That way they can seen to be taking action against Racism in football unless it's the captain of England squad in which case he'll be protected to the end of the Earth. Better for a foreigner to be seen as racist than an Englishman.

i personally think we're seeing the true picutre as guys like blatter let it slip.

lets fae it guys, football is the only truely world wide sport and the only truely even playing field fro a boy from montevideo, paris, the wirral or nigeria. it is the best tool for bringing people together we have, far better than the UN and shows where hate really exists... like italy where stabbings and murders are rife or eastern europe too.

blatter is just an example of how people were brought up and were adults in a society where people were routinely racist. they may intellectually realise its wrong or act properly but upbringing is nature, it shone through.

my childhood hero was john barnes and he was abused up and down this country.

now lets get real. why oh why do we in the modern world think problems can be solved in such a short time? hatred takes many years to be educated out. Kids today don't think of players like evra or johnson or say drogba as being of colour. when they are adults their kids won't even think it. (but a small minority may)

In this country to its credit people will not throw a banana onto a pitch any more of if it happens the guy will be banned for life. Yes fifa have worked for years on this to their credit too, theres an awful long way to go and generations to come to get it right.

in the same way that today i would go to grounds and feel right about bringing my kids when they are old enough in england I would NEVER take them to stadiums in europe.

Examples... remember what the spanish manager of the day called antonio reyes? nothing happened but ron atkinson was sacked for comments.

I would fully expect that suarez gets punished if real evidence exists but if john terry who has previous run ins with the FA gets off despite actual evidence being seen by us all it will be a bad signal but i for one am actually confident the fa will not go agasint public opinion. I expect 3 match bans for both guys.
