I still think we are a defender and at least one out and out striker short of having a comfortable squad depth.
In fairness the paper edition had a full feature on it, with the separate groups and fixture lists. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Out of that list, maybe Bertrand, Tuanzebe, but midfield & forwards are nothing spectacular, Andre Gray maybe?
The lead singer from Coldplay is on the list. In addition to being a frontman, is his hold-up play any good?
If we were only wanting backup for Ingram, I don't know why we didn't offer Jed Steer a contract, rather than, presumably, paying a fee for Allsop.
Not sure the best thread for this so I’ll stick it here, very relevant for us https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...2?shareToken=8e676f325e72a679421915917f1bda3b
It sounds exactly how Liam is trying to get us to play. Replace Mitoma/Fathi/March with Philogene/Twine/Tufan. Greaves is our Dunk.
Draw the opposition on, work the angles to get the ball into talented wide men for 1-1 situations. That’s why we probably wanted Rak-Sakyi too.
