It was a good post-match team talk with no waffling. What’s not to like?

Interesting that he mentioned Adama when Baz had picked up that he needs to do more...

I still don’t think I’ve heard Liam waffle. When he speaks it’s calm, considered, articulate, measured and rational.

It may be a coincidence that when he speaks after a defeat people tend to think he’s waffling.

We are used to managers being angry, short and snappy after a loss. Just because Rosenior speaks the same calm way people feel uncomfortable about it - doesn’t make him a waffler though, just a decent human being.

Probably the equivalent of a pivot / dual pivot / V / cantilever or disc manoeuvre...

Twine has been pretty brilliant in my eyes but hey we all see the game differently.

As I posted on the transfer thread the other day, I saw a stat that he'd created more shot on goal than Dan James in half the games - with James playing for a side with theoretically better attacking talent. So he's clearly doing something right.

Or James has been bab. I'm with you on Twine has done well though.

Possibly, although he was Leeds' man of the match the other game, so can't have been playing overly poorly.

Something I find interesting thing about this, and also that speech he gave to the players at the start of pre season, is how he's clearly so focused on driving up standards and keeping them high. It seems like a big part of his challenge is to make sure the players have that belief in themselves and to demand those high standards from themselves. I think it's easy to forget as fans, when we blame every dropped point on lineups and tactics, that a big part of it is actually just how hard the team play, how committed and focused they are on the day, and over a season how consistently they can achieve those standards.

I sometimes think about how Steve Bruce was so successful with us and other clubs in the earlier part of his career, but then seemed to struggle so much in his later jobs. I can't believe he forgot how to manage, but I think a big part of it was that he no longer had the respect of a generation of players and maybe couldn't fire them up any more because they saw him as this dinosaur figure as he was painted in the media. Previously, including here, I think he commanded respect as a big name.

Just watched the full behind the scenes a Leicester, and it is worth the £5.99 to watch it. Brilliant.

Xavier Simons was there also, which was a surprise seeing he went on loan to Fleetwood.

Probably wasn’t registered in time for them so he stuck around last weekend and will meet up with them during the international break. They still play games this week and next.

Just got a nice message from a mate of mine who is a Burnley fan, he worked with me in Hull and used to come to City games, so has a soft spot for us.

He now lives just outside Leicester and played golf Sunday morning, and said he was taking the piss out of his golfing partners, who are Foxes fan all the way round. I think it was because he was getting stick for Burnley's start to the season, so delighted to get his own back.

Seems like a lot of Leicester fans were playing golf on Saturday. Surprised there were any at the game

Yeah, I was thinking similar. I wonder if they taught golf in PE in Leicester around 70/80’s?
