It looked like a relegation tussle for most of the game and Forest came out on top. Sanchez - our new goalie - was absolutely appalling. His distribution is awful - I was in the Matthew Harding Upper to witness his throwing the ball into trouble when there were 3 free Chelsea players to his right and he throws left to almost give the ball away at 0-1 down. He hit the back of a Forest player with another throw, didn’t come out and sprint off his line when one on one to try to smother the ball from the Forest player that scored.

All in all, a load of expensive and overpriced kids out there today not playing as a team. Sterling and Malo Gusto worked well together - other than that we were very poor today.

Well I enjoyed it even if nobody else wants to talk about it.

My highlight of the day was seeing an enlightened Chelsea supporter with ‘Abramovich’ written on the back of his Chelsea shirt. That’s who I want back and back as Chelsea owner.

Same old Chelsea under new owners, all show and no go.
Couldnt score in a brothel with a fist full of fivers.
Poch says “unlucky” I say dumb, 1 billion spent and no striker.

If I hadn’t witnessed the profligate display against AFC Wimbledon this result against workmanlike opposition would’ve been a huge shock to the system. Like I said before this is an example of a huge inflationary transfer market where you’re forced to pay obscene amounts of money for hyped-up players - further down the line I can see Private Eye running a caption with Boehly & Pochettino having a chat: “We’re 3-0 down what do we do?…BUY! BUY! BUY!

The situation is nuts regarding the goalkeeper - Kepa out on loan to Real Madrid and Sanchez in our goal to replace him. We also need a proper striker up front and Jackson was nowhere near good enough up front in my opinion.

Jackson is not to blame, hes a young, very inexperienced player who’s done really well for us , but he’S learned the very hard way that PL is so much tougher and quicker than the 2 team Spanish League he comes from.
That he is our lone striker is a massive put down of the Chelsea owners and their hopeless recruiting personnel and methods.
I hope he picks himself up and keeps going, he is a future star who needs all the game time he can get.

Reminded me of watching us under Potter. Nice football in between both boxes, 1 mistake which leads to a goal and we can’t put chances away to ever win by 3 or 4.

I can understand why they’ve gone for so many young players but at some point there needs to be some experience. I hate to say it but Rice would’ve been ideal.

Never mind Jackson and Co. picking themselves up, I need to pick myself up for the game against Villa on Sunday 24th. I just remember that we lost that home fixture 0-2 last season. We aren’t playing anymore effectively now than we were then.

We’re definitely looking better than last season and improvements are there but we are still seriously lacking a goal scorer.
We shouldn’t have lost to Forest. Plain and simple. We should have scored several times. There’s lots of work for Poch to do but I think he’ll get us there.

…..not so long ago, we used to be getting goals from every outfield position on the pitch. Gary Cahill making an appearance for a half time talk reminded me of that. Cahill and Terry as central defenders were often getting on the scoresheet.

Absolutely agree with this. How many players in our squad have had a season in any division where they have hit double figures? Sterling & Nkunku and we haven’t got the latter until Christmas. Not sure how many Jackson got last season but between Madueke, Palmer & Mudryk they won’t score enough between them. Remember the days of Hazard, Willian, Mata & Oscar, all would’ve hit 7+. Don’t think any of our current midfielders and wingers apart from maybe Gallagher will get anywhere that.

…..sad but true, we’ve really regressed on the pitch with £1 billion spent by Todd Boehley and his associates. If Rees James gets back from injury he’ll hit 7+. Pochettino is a great manager - no doubting that - he did wonders at the basket case spuds getting them to a European Cup final. The pride of the Yankee nation baseball lovers that are Todd Boehley and Co. seem completely out of their depth here - they seem clueless on how to get CFC back up and winning.

Just watched the game again. See absolutely no difference between the team managed by Pochettino, Lampard or Potter.
Ten players running around with no direction, no connection, no teamwork, no passion, no belief, no confidence and with exactly the same results.
    So where's the difference??
Hope it gets better, can't get worse. Thought Pochettino would have instilled some team spirit by now, but not that I could see.
Long hard season coming methinks.Pochettino gets a 2 from me for his work, expected a lift in spirits, not happened.

Not gonna judge Poch yet. He inherited a lacklustre team of effortless wastes for the most part and the new signings need a bit more time.
Fernandez is looking good and our defence, West Ham game aside, has been okay, still the old problem of not being able to put the ball in the back of the net!
Something needs to give. Like you guys already said, we aint gonna get many goals out of our midfield so we need Sterling to be at his best constantly, Jackson to pick up the nuances of the PL quickly and Nkunku to heal FAST!

We had nearly 80% possession and 21 shots on goal and came away with F*** all!
Am gonna give it 10 games at least before I start saying anything major but these ****wits need to get their act together

I didn't word this post too well, I wasn't meaning to judge Poch so much as show that by not thinning down the squad numbers and selling too many experienced players, he's been left to struggle with the same problems, having to play too many players and finding it difficult to sort his first 11.Plus so many players are unknowns and on the surface ,look like duplicates of each other.
With his injured players slowly returning, and key players at that,I am sure he'll get us up to speed , but I do feel it will take a couple of months more than I'd hoped.

……indeed, no different to what it was last season. Only difference is that I have confidence in Pochettino to sort out the mess. If Pochettino can’t sort the mess we’re doomed because I can’t imagine any other top level manager wanting to manage the mess.

A mess everywhere it seems, including Shirt Sponsorship.
First we want to go with a betting Company. Bad call 1.
Then a Company with no income .Bad call 2.
Now a Saudi Airline. Very bad call 3.
They are owned by a Government which has regular public beheadings, 196 people in 2022/23, who treat all women as 5th Class Citizens, who are "relocating" an ancient tribe so they can build a "show" city on their land, who have corrupted Golf paying players millions to sports wash their Human Rights record, who are now trying to do the same with Tennis, and who are signing each and every player with 2 legs for obscene payments for some obscure "football" reason. Oh and whose leader is accused of ordering the killing and dismemberment of Khasshogi, a Government critic, in the Saudi Embassy in Istanbul.
Are we that desperate for 30 million quid???
Not a Company name that Chelsea should have on our shirts.
Another bad decision that does us no credit.

Yes they do, they own 72 Boeing 787 Dreamliners being delivered as they roll off production lines to begin operations in early 2025. They have one fully liveried 787 which was shown at the Paris Airshow. Incidentally the " Show City" I referred to is called Neom a futuristic city or immense size to be built on traditional lands of an ancient tribe from what is now Saudi Arabia. Tribal people have been rounded up and displaced, arrested, jailed and disappeared for objecting. Just usual business for Saudi Arabia. So wealthy, so swimming in money are they that they are attempting to re write their appalling history by buying puppets to muddy their past with their new "benevolent" present.
We should be proud of our shirt sponsor, not part of Saudi Sportwashing for payment.
