Traore had a stinker yesterday. He was the only one who didn’t have a good game.

    Baz agrees bob

    The Traore quandary
Not for the first time this season, I've watched Adama Traore and been underwhelmed. Yes, he's silky on the ball at times, but he needs to bring more to the party than the odd nice touch. Too often, the game passes him by and he struggles to get himself involved in the play.

Yes, he's feeling his way into Championship football because it's still new to him, but in the opening five games of the season, he hasn't done enough to warrant a starting berth, and with the options, Rosenior will have at his disposal moving forward, it's hard to see him featuring in the strongest XI.

Was talking to a Spurs fan who went to the Leicester vs City game (as a carer for a disabled Leicester fan). He said Hull were good, got a goal and could have had more. He particularly criticised the ref for giving yellow cards to Hull players and then not giving them to Leicester players for similar offences.

Is that the noisy minority (is that an Allam phrase)? And only some of the time? The majority are generally respectful of other poster’s views the majority of the time. I guess it is a football board and people will have different opinions. As you say though unfortunately it easily descends to pettiness and becomes very personal.

Yeah, he seemed to give a yellow for nearly every challenge from us. Presumably, it was the home crowd effect. Either way, it was disproportionate.

..and a fellow City fan at the same time though, so you can’t count that.
I think you need to be far more selective about who you spank.

We did the same a previous game, which caused similar confusion. That time Greaves was booked for saying something after a wild tackle by another player. That’s good teamwork.

Bit of a juxtaposition there.... Wasn't the drummer in Showaddywaddy, Romeo somebody or other, rumoured to be Dion Dublin's old man?

Their keeper was awful, looked hapless most of the time and his misplaced passes were key to letting us into the game and our pressing on him was quite simple at times.

The only thing I’d add would be that there will be times this season we have three injured/ suspended (esp during African Nations). Why couldn’t we put one of the young lads a taste? I’m sure Kalman would have been much more assured if we had Ashbee sat on the bench!
Someone pointed out that it actually isn’t that unusual for teams to have two goalies on the bench. Is extending the number of subs another example of helping the richer clubs with bigger squads? Not sure why having 9 subs rather than 7 was necessary?

My information was based on an interview with the band members, when they were having hits. They might have been formed in Leicester, but might not all been from there.
