Some minor tweaking would allow him to create angles to pick up the ball deep and run. But he's this teams utility player so he will probably always doing the dirty work

Erm - better than not filling it at all and he was probably the youngster with no realistic chance of playing that earned the seat in training this week.

    Just looked at our results.

We’ve lost one of our first five games, but going back to last season, we’ve lost just once in nine.

Or two in fourteen in the league.

Or, two in twenty two in all competitions and pre season friendlies.

Does anybody want to go back to the pre season threads about us being **** and Rosenior not having a clue?

I’m not saying we’re invincible, far from it, but that’s a commendable record nevertheless. If we consistently did that across the season, we would end up with roughly 14 defeats from 46 (if you’re assuming a 1:7 loss:win ratio). That usually sees you get into the playoffs, if you don’t draw too many games. That gives you 96 points to play for. We’ve already got 10. Another 86 to go.

Yeah but we were suicidal defensively and **** in attack.

We have a gobby and naive manager and he won't sign a proper DM, so we can't possibly have been 4th the best defensively and finish 10th on form in his tenure simply cos...

    Erm...

"stop fannying around at the back".

"We' ll lucky to be lower mid table"

Despite the table saying different for months now.

just been reading away on Foxestalk - total meltdown - we were timewasting, they'd have won if some of their chances went in, no ****, the ref only added 3 minutes on - our goal was a lucky deflection and then we shut up shop - boo hoo - oh, and the hull fans are all ****s - yeah, well so's Lineker

The 3 minutes added was remarkably low. It seemed to completely deflate them and we eased through them to victory.

    Excellent!

I was with you until you included pre season friendlies. That is what gives statisticians an horrendous reputation.

I would suggest that on too many occasions Ingram opted to kick it long.

I was having a read of their pre match thread, their arrogant comments were hilarious to read after full time

First real bit of benefit of the doubt we've got from the officials this year, but let's not suggest they weren't influenced by the home crowd by sheer the number of yellows they got away with..

I just included it for context, the ratio wasn’t based on that.
Though we did beat Galatasaray away, that is some achievement even in a friendly.
