I also can't comprehend, so often even in the new build houses, people who have got the money together to buy a new house with a brand new lawn, sit back and let it turn into a wasteland of 2 foot high weeds. Also landlords who buy them up and let their tenants ruin them.

Spangles were horrible . . . . but not as bad as pear drops. I tried a pear drop a few years ago to see if they were as bad as I remembered, and it was, and it went into the bin
