Delap - a winning goal and always a nuisance
Jones - good solid defensive performance
Seri- some excellent passes and left his mark on one or 2 foxes .
An all round solid display a couple of lucky moments but 3 points for City .
    Well done boys
    Come on City

Tough to choose 3 players let alone in which order. Think Vinagre would have been top if he’d done the full 90

Delap - worked his balls off for the team plus scored the winner
Vinagre - Looks a upgrade on what we have had.
Jones - Another good solid display

    Slater top scored by BAZ...

Hull City's battling 1-0 win secured their first league win at Leicester City since 2008 and ended the Foxes' one hundred percent record so far this season.

Liam Delap's curling effort after 15 minutes had City a goal ahead at the King Power Stadium and while they rode their luck at times during a pulsating contest, the Tigers stood firm to collect their first clean sheet of the campaign, and send a message out to the rest of the league about their promotion credentials, even at this early stage.

Here's how Tigers reporter Barry Cooper rated the players this afternoon at the King Power Stadium...

Matt Ingram: A walking bag of nerves in the first half, a lot of indecision between him and his defence, particularly Jones. Looked much like his old self in an improved second period. 6/10

Ruben Vinagre: Back in the team for the first time since Norwich and looked bright going forward. A good 65 minutes in his tank after a lay-off.6/10

Jacob Greaves: Probably City's most accomplished defender in the first half. Made a great block at the start of the second half. Switched to left-back in the second half reshuffle.A real show of quality. 8/10

Alfie Jones: Booked inside two minutes for a shirt pull on Kelechi Iheanacho, looked uncertain with Ingram. Second half was much, much better. 8/10

Lewie Coyle: Like Jones, Coyle opted to keep his defensive partner company by picking up a yellow card five minutes after Jones. Really struggled early on but battled away. 7/10

Jean Michael Seri: Gets the assist for his ball out to Delap. Picked up a booking. Grew into it as the game wore on and showed his experience at times. Even managed a solo run towards goal before falling over and pleading for the referee's mercy. A real shift 8/10

Regan Slater: Steady enough, got away with a howler on the stroke of half-time when the flag bailed him out, though to his credit, he did recover and get back to block a shot on the line. Like with Seri, a heck of an effort. 8/10

Adama Traore: Completely non-existent in the first half. In the second half, he did win an important tackle midway inside his own half, but we have to see more from him. 5/10

Scott Twine: Had to do a lot of defensive work in the opening exchanges. Wasted one or two really good set-play opportunities but never stopped. 6/10

Aaron Connolly: A shot on goal inside a minute set the tone for a lively, and very open start. Chased, pressured, and never gave the Foxes defence a minute. 7/10

Liam Delap: Opened the scoring with a curling effort from the edge of the box. Brilliant run second half fashioned a really good chance for Connolly. Another very good display. 7/10

    Subs:

Cyrus Christie (on for Traore 65): Made a real difference. Saw a shot turned before and then was fouled right outside the box. 6/10

Sean McLoughlin (on for Vinagre 65): Came in to steady things in the final stages. Headed, kicked, and was a useful asset. 6/10

Jason Lokilo (on for Connolly 74): Did what he had to do in the closing moments, as City defended it out. 6/10

Allahyar (on for Delap 84): Came on as an outlet to chase, to press and it worked. 6/10

Promising from Vinagre too (or Viagra as the co- commentator initially called him on Foxes channel. I kid you not)

    Greaves ,pleased he’s still here
Connolly ,once he’s fit and as long as he keeps focused he’s going to be a real fans favourite
