Stupid start playing so high up the pitch, can't leave yourself so exposed at the back. Need a proper CDM if we're going to play this way. Mara and Holgate look way below the level today. Also yet to be convinced that Manning is any good at defending.. Need Charles on for Smallbone, Fraser for Mara and THB for Holgate.
Bazunu should really do better, but it goes over Dack as he ducks and he sees it late. All started from a poor pass that wasn't needed.
People thinking Mara is the issue today, are just people not liking Mara. Nothing to do with what is occurring on the field. Still, at least we tend to be better in the second half. I don’t actually think this is definitely over, though big changes needed.
In some ways, this is a good reality check for the team and coaches etc. I thought we would lose today, and we are getting battered. We didn’t learn the lesson from the first minute from our own corners. This half has been on everyone, from the Manager down to each player.
