Good window overall, delighted to keep Che as I always said I’d rather have him at this level and see him go for free rather than sell this summer. Will be interesting to see how Martin manages the squad as we’re gonna have four centre backs all wanting to start, and to be honest in pretty much all positions we have numerous options where all will think they’re starters. Wonder if any who wanted out were told to wait until January… Let’s hope we can now shift Taul Paul and Djenepo off to Belgium.

Any news on Che? Is he now likely to run contract down or sign a new one? Is he pi$$ed off? So long as he's commited until then, I suppose he could still be promised a leave in January, when he'll still have suitors/value, we'll have Stewart back from injury and some time to get someone else in perhaps? What we can't afford is a half arsed Che Adams, though Im hoping it's not in his DNA/interests
I dont think LB is so bad. Manning is clear first choice, Larios waiting in the wings and lest we forget Djenepo in spite of his flaws is actually quite handy in that position.
Presumably (hopefully) Martin will be asked this today. Not out of the question for Che to sign an extension, even if only for a year as that would protect him a bit if he were to get a bad injury between now and Jan/June. He’ll presumably go off on international duty soon, so if he is a bit annoyed (probably isn’t), he can have some time away and then come back to us ready to get the winner against Leicester.
An ITK on Saints Web said Rasmus was crunching Che’s Xnumbers in the black box room one final time, then ran out waving a piece of paper in the air saying “no sale” just as Che was leaving for Molineux.
