Mutu! Don't think we would take on a cocaine sniffing big shot! Well I'm not desperate to find out who it is, doing fine at the moment
The thing about these cosy dinners is that it's quite hard to remember what exactly is said so there is an element of deniability while there is an ability to engage the fans in some news. So for me it's all positive stuff - 44k capacity, big signing in January and home grown team ambition but I do have a pinch of the potassium chloride* handy. *LoSalt which is healthier
Morning guys! Sorry I sort of made a post yesterday and couldn't get back to add anything! Just been reading through what you have all read, I don't think by the way it Jay Rod from Burnley coming in, my brother was definitely told they met him but it sounded as though he may have been laughed out the building with what he asked for (that's reading between the lines) I think the best news is what is well rumored and that is that we are gearing up for the prem what with the ground increase, did anyone ever think one day saints would be sat in a arena like that? Oh and the GUS thing about him being online for the mangers job prior to NA getting it well I'm not sure how in the running he was but his CV was definitely in the pile of 30+ candidates mr Cortese had to fish through and I think he definitely has a chip on his shoulder he wasn't taken more seriously! Who knows maybe he didn't even get a preliminary interview! Really hoping we turn em over tomorrow!
I can't see us really rocking the boat with a star signing on a big paycheck, but what else deserves to be called a "big" signing? Been scratching my head trying to think about genuine PL strikers who aren't getting a game and who aren't in the unaffordable elite bracket and have come up with...... absolutely no-one!
On the Ali Dia front, I've also heard Jim Magilton has left Ipswich?! Sorry. It also sounds ridiculously good though! 44k watching Saints? Amazing. To think where we were just a couple of years ago. <dreamytypesmiley>
What, you mean that tiny 26,000 seat affair, we had plans for, until Eastleigh Borough Council vetoed it..? Thank goodness they did, IMO.
