No but will be. I’m listening in on the Twitter space with Adam Blackmore and Alfie House and they know the announcement is coming
The best bit of business we have done is keeping KWP. I was absolutely convinced he was off. Genuinely think he is the best player in the league.
This window has surpassed all expectations. KWP staying is just fantastic. Keeping Che and bringing in another first team quality striker Most unexpected of all, keeping Kamaldeen. This could be fun, folks. edit: signings of Taylor, Downes and Fraser also really exciting
you have a great player in Ross, sad he left us he will get you 20+ goals this season, although we have had a great window keeping, Clarke, Roberts and signing some really good strikers. Too soon for tomorrow though.
This has been a excellent window, Well done Wilcox. I actually believe we are going to smash this league and get promotion.
So am I right in saying we’ve kept Che, Sulemana, KWP, Alcaraz? And added Charles, Downes, Manning, Holgate, Frazer, Harwood-bellis and Stewart? Top window. Only disappointments are not moving on Paul, Aribo, Djenepo. Where and when did Perraud go?
Perraud went to Nice on loan earlier this week. Plenty of time for Paul to go back to Belgium, as their transfer window is open till the 6th Sept.
Considering the players I expected to leave this has been a very good window. I’m confounded that we sold who we did and kept who we did to be honest. Hopefully here’s no sulking and we can get on and #pisstheleague
So yesterday there was a lot of angst at the idea of moving out Che, Ballard and Mara. Combined with several assuming that the only replacement would be an injured Stewart Instead we only loaned out Ballard - the one in most need of minutes Positive all round . The only gap was no Tella replacement. Assuming no move to a club with a window still open then this could well be Sulemana
If people question our position, spare a thought for Leicester. They have opted to keep a bunch of players, Iheanacho included, all of whom are out of contract at the end of the year, and all of whom are on massive wages for this level. Even with the Maddison/Barnes sales, they're going to bleed an awful lot of money this year...they need to get promoted this year or things could get ugly.
I think the thing I am most comfortable around is the depth we have now for this level. We have options for every position on the pitch except maybe LB? Leicester I'm not too sure about but Leeds will def struggle if the injuries start to accumulate. We are in a great position to get a strong start and hopefully strong enough to withstand a few injuries.
Just woke up to see the news. Fantastic saints. Absolutely fantastic signings and keeping KWP is mental. To make so much cash and also keep the squad quality as high as we have is a master class. If Stewart can get back to his same form, and we can get the best out of Sulemana it should be a good season.
