Can't give you much on Pederson. I watched a couple of Koln games last season and can't remember him at all. Koln fans are uber passionate though, just like us Jacks, so I told my Koln heads inlaws we're in the prosess of buying him. Through much laughter and hugs of thanks and condolence this is what they said, Kristian Pederson - average on his best day, Fullback/Centreback (left), it doesn't matter where he plays he's **** in both positions. He has, no skill, no tricks, no pace and no brain, ouch! and he's had as much impact for Koln as 'a fart in a hurricane'. I don't think they're going to miss him Still love YJB's and come here often to see whassssuuuuuuuuuuup, certainly not Budweiser these days. Lets hope this season is going to be less frustrating than the last few. TBH though, I do have a spark of confidence in Duff and our new investors, only a small spark, y'all know we've been let down so badly in the past. Lets hope this season is different, Keep on screaming guys
https://www.teamtalk.com/news/sourc...sea-agree-deal-sign-stoke-defender-josh-tymon Maybe things starting to move
Looks like a short term loan until Jan 2024 with a possible extension. I think he will need to show a bit more to impress Duff than he did towards the end of his last term with us.
https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foo...dnesday-blackburn-rovers-john-buckley-4277671 From Blackburn. Don’t know anything about him. I see Lowe on a 3 month give us time to asses what we really need up top having lost piroe
Swansea City has completed the signing of defender Kristian Pedersen from FC Cologne for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance. The 29-year-old bolsters the Swans defensive options and is able to operate as a left-sided centre-back, full-back or wing-back. The Denmark international becomes Swansea’s 10th signing of the summer transfer window, and comes with no shortage of experience. He has signed a two-year contract in SA1 and will wear the number three shirt.
Darko Gyabi from Leeds? Never heard of him. https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...elder-as-transfer-deadline-approaches-4277883
He was part of the deal that took Phillips to Man City. Young and gifted apparently, but obviously Leeds are happy for us to make him a better player and then they get him back. Total unknown as to how he will do
Swansea City has completed the signing of Josh Tymon from Stoke City for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance. The 24-year-old has signed a three-year contract, with the option for an additional 12 months, and will wear the number 14 shirt for the Swans. The Hull-born defender bolsters head coach Michael Duff’s defensive ranks, and provides a left-footed option for the Swans boss. Tymon came through the academy ranks with Hull City, having joined them in 2011, and went on to make his senior debut for the Tigers in an FA Cup tie against Bury in January 2016. His Premier League bow followed later that year against Sunderland, while he also enjoyed a career milestone against the Swans as he scored his first senior goal to help Hull to a 2-0 FA Cup win in January 2017. Tymon left Hull at the conclusion of that season and made the move to the Potteries with Stoke. He had loan spells with MK Dons and Portuguese club Famalicao as he sought more senior experience, before making his breakthrough at Stoke during the 2020-21 season. Tymon has been a regular in the first team since, and has made 122 appearances in total for the Potters, scoring four goals and registering nine assists. A former England youth international, Tymon featured for the Three Lions at the prestigious Toulon tournament in 2017.
Time will tell: the players will need time to gel. It’s a shame that Cardiff is the next game (after today) as it may come too soon ….
I agree. Yes, we’ve made more signings than in recent windows, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good window. We will find out when they’ve all played a few games.
