Good Morning. It's Friday 1st September, and here are all the latest headlines from Elland Road on Transfer Deadline Day!

    Finally... Kamara signs

After weeks of speculation, Glen Kamara is finally a Leeds Utd player. The no nonsense midfielder penned a four year deal, making the £5m switch from Scottish giants Rangers.

Kamara's days were numbered at Ibrox, after being frozen out by Manager Michael Beale, a sure way to tell him, his services were no longer required! He was linked with several other Championship clubs, but his £5m price tag was too rich for many.

Rumours started circulating last week that the Finnish International wasn't Daniel Farke's first choice, and would only sign him if other targets weren't available. He is 27, and prefers playing central midfield. He has very strong ball retention and his crunching tackles will make him a fans favourite in no time. His arrival, may see Darko Gyabi leave on loan.

    Bulgarian bulldog joins Leeds

Leeds have completed the £5m signing of Bulgarian International midfielder Ilia Gruev. The little known 23yo penned a four year contract yesterday afternoon, after passing his medical earlier in the day. It brings an end to his eight year tenure with Werder Bremen.

His stats may not be anything to write home about, but he is one of the best ball retrievers in Europe, a skill Leeds will need to improve upon, if they are to win promotion back to the promised land. Signing Gruev and Kamara gives Daniel Farke far more options in the middle of the park, and means that the club don't have to
    rush Archie Gray's development.

Leeds face a battle to keep hold of Sinisterra

Elland Road journalist Phil Hay believes Leeds face a battle to keep hold of Colombian International Luis Sinisterra beyond tonight's 11pm deadline, when the transfer window slams shut.

Crystal Palace, Everton and Fulham have all been heavily linked with the 24yo, though it's understood Leeds will do everything in their power to keep him at Elland Road. In his previous campaign before joining the Whites, he netted 23 times, and provided 14 assists with Feyenoord, who have also expressed an interest in taking him back.

According to Hay "Plenty of interest in Sinisterra still. And not much of a secret that he wants to play at a higher level. We’ll see".

    No more ER Drameh's

Birmingham City have beaten West Brom and Hull City to the signature of Cody Drameh. The 21yo will pen a season long loan at St Andrews, finally bringing an end to his turbulent three year stay at Elland Road.

He never quite made the first team grade at Leeds, but excelled every time he left on loan. The arrival of Djed Spence from Spurs made it an easy decision for Daniel Farke. The Blues have an option to buy, though I'm not sure how that works as he is in the final year of his contract!

    Have Leeds done enough

The midfield pairing of Kamara and Gruev has bought Leeds Summer spending over the £30m bracket
Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev, Sam Byram, Karl Darlow, Joel Piroe and Glen Kamara have all joined on a permanent basis whilst Joe Rodon and Djed Spence both arrived on season long loans.

It's fair to say that after the monumental loan fiasco, the 49ers have fully backed Farke, giving him the tools needed to plot a course back to the Premier League, but have Leeds done enough? How important will it be keeping hold of both Wilfred Gnonto and Luis Sinisterra?

So two signings in. So much for buying proven championship performers… we’re back to plucking nobodies from second rate foreign pub leagues. And the Gruev signing isn’t much better.

Morning all. Just hope the powers that be have got most of the signings right or by end of season well be trying to offload a half dozen of them along with the rats on loan. Im fairly confident we've done ok except that signing from Scotland and Darllow. Well have a better idea by midnight how we can rate the window. Also, if Sini wants to play at a higher level, surely wed be better to loan him to a pl outfit and recall next season if promoted

    What's wrong with Darlow ?

Most were pleased when he signed and many wanted him in the team in place of Meslier.

mine too... and replaced with that norwegian from Roma

All's gone quiet on the attacking midfielder search... which we know we were after. Given we've just loaned out Greenwood, we don't have a natural 10 in the Buendia mode and Farke seems to like them.

    ...Or a FLFFLFB

    Yep. Me too.

Wave goodbye to 15-20 goals and 15-20 assists if he goes.

And with that one comment Boro will promoted and we'll be stuck in the Championship.

True we don't have a 10 as such but the way we played at Ipswich it's difficult to see how Farke would squeeze one into the team. The obvious answer would be to move Rutter to the bench but the 2 up top worked really with Piroe dropping in as required and we have Bamford to come in as well. Then there is all the other talented forward players such as Sinisterra, Gnonto, Summerville, Dan James and even Poveda who looked great against Cardiff.

Basically we have 8 attacking players for a maximum 4 places and that's without Joffy & Joseph.

Would like to think that we have back up plans to cover for the loss of Sini, Gnonto or Summerville

IF Sinisterra is to go, I hope we hold out for a big fee. Price should be at least £40 million imo. If someone doesn't pay that money then we don't really need to sell.

Interesting that we turned down £20 million from Burnley for Summerville yesterday. We bought him for £1 million btw. I'd take £30 million for him if we got Paintsil.

Piroe played mainly as a 10 last week with Giorginio up top and rotating with Piroe at times it was almost 4-4-2. I also think we will now see Archie pushed forward as we now have 3 DMs

Difficult decisions when big money is on the table.

Just think how toothless we looked at Birmingham without our better attackers though.
