If we do sell salah the only replacement for him that even comes close is kvaratskhelia throw 100 mill at napoli for him and we would be golden
For all the rumours around Napoli before the window, is Min Jae the only major player who's actually left so far?
Ryan Gravenberch would like to wear Number 8 shirt which is not available he may have to settle for Number 14
its NEVER a good look if people can find out he's already asked about a shirt number a very basic google by his agent should be telling him is impossible.
They sold 2 fringe players i believe and have brought in 6 players in total from what i am seeing online
So Gravenberch in, probably Trinidade in January, Thiago out in Summer with Salah giving us time to get a suitable replacement. Is that it then?
Although he's actually right footed, Diaz seems equally good with his left foot. I'd try him on the right leaving Nunez to play left.
Origi in talks with Burnley and forest. Be lovely to see him back at Anfield and get a brilliant reception. Plus has added benefit of likely scoring s few against everton
joyce is breifing us that nobody else is coming. I expect a few laons to go out which is never looking like good strategic thinking for those kids. We seem to be scratching round for pitaluga and for morton destinations
That's not what you said. you said you could think of anyone who's played right wing in world football with numbers like salah. messi says hi
again that wasn't what was said. cannot think of anyone in world football. do you not want salah to be paid such a compliment?
Yea… because we’re talking about a replacement for Salah. Read the context of the whole conversations.
read? If Z doesn't need to why should I? your context is irrelevant the statement was a sweeping one and rightly challenged with messi says hi. As for the rest? Well down through history the RW slot doesn't leading score for a lot of clubs anyway so the point is irrelevant, why try directly place goals in that one position when in fact most teams get their goals centrally anyway. We have 3 forward slots currently, we want goals out of all 3. our best seasons under klopp were 2018/19 where salah got 27 goals and mane 26 and firmino only 16. OR 2019/20 where salah was 23, mane 22 and firmino only 12. one might actually say we need a good spread of goals through the team but all 3 forwards can chip in If you look at 2019/20 trent, robertson salah, mane and firmino all have 10+ assists. nicely shared about By contrast last season Salah got 30 goals, nunez 15 and firmino 13. the other 3 were bit part. same for assists, Salah had 16 and trent and robertson were 11 and 10. the hole in the side is obvious here. We actually already need diaz and nunez/gakpo/jota to step up and do their part now they are all fit etc. when we were at our best we didn't just rely on salah that's why his high numbers contributed to much better than just 5th. Lets see everyone contribute here and not get hung up on salah going being the end of the world. we've seen player after player depart over our collective lifetimes and there's always another along.
How about we read between the lines a little and just accept that what was meant was that it's hard to think of anyone we could reasonably replace Salah with that could match his stats?
City sign Nunes from Wolves for £53m. Given the scepticism on here around him, what would the reaction have been if we'd done that deal?
