If it is a loan deal then it would have to be something like that. Without a contract extension a loan deal is effectively a sale from a Saints perspective.

Thierry Henry thinks there's a player there as he's called him up to his next France U21 squad. Far, far too early to write him off IMO.
Extending Che's contract only to loan him out without an obligation to buy would almost be the worst possible outcome. We wouldn't get to benefit from his goals this season. And if we achieve our aim this season of promotion, we'd be risking having him back to once again underwhelm in the PL. If Wolves want him, they can pay up and buy him. But tbh, now that we're so close to the window closing, I prefer to keep him for his final year and then have him leave for free.
