    I was under the impression that Harwood-Bellis was into the final year of his contract? If so, then why would City loan him out, unless they were to renew his contract first? But if they were going to do that, wouldn't they have already done it?

    I'd have thought just selling him would be easiest/most likely.

    Chelsea do lots of loans with the player immediately signing a contract just before . Timing is probably that they hoped for a sale

    Also worth mentioning, this is a good way around the sell on fee too, so nearly pocketing 7MIllion for a loan is crazy.

    I assume we only intend on going into the season with 4 CBs. So Wood and THB would need to see two outgoings I would think
