The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 30th August)

The Kieffer Moore link was when we played Dan James up front because we had nobody else. The club said there wasn't anyone available to buy and we'd make do. Bournemouth signed Moore for a measly £6 million and he scored crucial goals and got them promoted. Meanwhile Dan James couldn't hold up his shorts up front let alone the ball.

Matt Smith was a tongue in cheek comment last season when I watched Salford in the play offs and saw him do what he did to us last night. I merely suggested that if he was with us at that moment he'd probably be better than the **** we were watching. You know, in that last 8 games or so last season when we gave up.

 

Never said he was.

We all know though that over the last 3 season in the PL we looked better when he was in the side.

 

I'll give him the first season.

The other two seasons he was gash or injured. The fact we looked better with him in the team is because we didn't have another striker. I'd say Rodrigo made us better when he played as a 9.

 

Yep and then Firpo could have looked even better cos all he'd have to do was lump it into the box

I'm hoping Everton go down this season. They look about as interested as our lot did last season. Very poor.

Haven't they had investors pull out last week too? They must be in FFP trouble by now.

Yep. Donny could have gone in 2-0 up just before HT. They are good value for it so far.

There’s too many I want to go down. Bournemouth so I can see Adams talking about their history in the championship and to laugh at Max Aarons. Everton - self explanatory. Sheff U - ditto Everton. Luton, just because I’m a football snob and can’t believe they are in the top division and we’re not. Probably more that have pissed me off but that’s from the top of my head.

 

You don't get to have more notches on your bedpost than Julio Inglesias without being able to wear people down

 

Plus most of the ****ty London clubs like Palace & Brentford.

Need to form a new British Super League and kick the fookers out.
