Yeah is just one persons opinion after all. I know nothing about O’Riley apart from he is a CM/AM which we seem pretty well stocked.
I guess the way Martin may look at it is: DM: Charles, Smallbone (Downes) CM: Downes, O'Riley (Armstrong) AM: Alcaraz, Armstrong (O'Riley) + Charles required to deputise as additional CB cover at times That would be a phenomenal set of midfielders for this level, in fairness. I suspect it may come to nothing but it's an interesting link.
There's a third too - "Craftsment of old/Carpenters/holy men" - Joseph Paintsil So he's basically saying Paintsil, Duk and Zequiri. Covering his bases, so if we get one of those three he can claim to be ITK. Ignore him. He sounds like a wally.
Hell, if we sign two strikers (or one and retain Che) then he can as well. I just think if we were getting another new face up front it would have happened by now unless that slot is contingent on one or both of Onuachu and Mara leaving on loan
