Geordies should've put the game to bed, their own fault. Almiron unlucky not to score and Alison made 7 saves , the most he's ever made in a Premier league match. The biggest thing was that of all the chances Newcastle had, Isak didn't have a single chance to score, he'd almost certainly have buried one. Incredibly Pep benched Foden after his display against Newcastle, almost certainly just because I put him in my Fantasy team ! Comes off bench after Sheffield equalised and got assist for Rodri's excellent winner. Foden must wonder what he has to do to become a regular starter especially with De Bruyne out, he'll get pissed off soon and ask to leave I reckon, and then there'd be the mother of all scrambles to buy him !
Pep seems to do some of these things just because they're unexpected. The players won't admit it, but it must really piss them off at times. Foden should definitely leave if he continues to be left out, which is ridiculous given the way he played against Toon and with De Bruyne out injured.
