I think they only have to have 2 of the 4 weeks off. Plus if you have designed parts then maybe a 3rd party can manufacture them for you during the 2 week shutdown?
Interesting interview with Albon on C4. He was suggesting that they tried a certain wind direction on their sim before they came here and it was good for them and they had the same wind direction in track! He also said that they went for a slightly dragger car so they are not fastest on the straights for once. Looks like James V is having a good impact on them. Wish them best of luck for the race.
He makes mistakes because he overdrives the Ferrari (because it's a bit ****). So he has two choices, slow down and make less mistakes, but be nowhere, or keep trying to push it to the limit and occasionally go over. Sainz makes a lot of "mistakes" in that car too, but he's not quite as quick as Leclerc. Max doesn't make mistakes largely because he doesn't ever need to maximise the potential of the car. He can drive it at 80% of its potential and still canter to a win. Leclerc is always (perhaps wrongly) driving the Ferrari at 100% or slightly beyond, to give himself a chance. He's an incredibly quick driver, but I fear Ferrari might have broken him. Stick him in a Red Bull and you wouldn't see anything like the amount of mistakes though.
it was very blatant. he's pushed him.right off a cambered corner and towards a wall. so disappointed in perez going so slow after being gifted this race potentially. verstappen will sail by in 5 laps here.
turn this off. red bull absolutely ****bags just don't even bother making a race. verstappen just promoted in pit stop.
perez is a ****ing idiot. not paying attention to the team just not bothering to tell him anything. did he not get any info that sorts were going on for others. did he not see verstappen no longer behind him. he should basically ram verstappen off track at some point just to have them know he won't accept it.
Perez was miles off the pace anyway, but it's still sad to see Red Bull feel the need to fiddle with the strategies like that. Doing it when you've already won both championships just feels mean spirited
True but there is the record for number of consecutive wins within Max's grasp. We all know Perez is on thin ice for next year so he can only really do what he's told or he has no drive.
Secret Yuki Tsunoda fan? Perez is far too replaceable to get forceful about anything. Sure, but it's already Red Bull's record with Seb anyway and it's more meaningful for Max get the record without underhanded tricks. He seemed to have the pace to pass Perez
