Gutted more about this one than any of the other outs. I really thought it was all set up for a romantic return and him to smash us up to the premier league. But oh well. Too good an opportunity to turn down I guess. Good luck to him. Martins comments about him being replaced have softened the blow.
Big mistake imo. Should have put our foot down like Leeds have with Gnonto. Imterested to see the replacement.
Gutted to be honest. I honestly thought Tella & Tino would be tearing up the championship for us this season.
It’s such football fan speak. According to transfermarkt Roberts is valued at €3.2m with one year left on his contract. Which on paper means they would be lucky with a quarter of the price that fan quoted if he hasn’t / isn’t extending. Ross Stewart is €2.8m with a year left as well and seemingly no intention of extending So far be it 20m for Roberts, 10m should get them both. With 10-12m for Wood and I assume around 1m for Hove and that sees us close to where we want the squad to be I would have thought? Although Swansea are playing silly buggers it seems My figures may come across as FM-esque but from looking it seems like usually the max a player will go for it a club really don’t want to sell AND they have more than a year left is 3 times their transfermarkt value. Which would be about £15m for the pair before you consider the one year left for both. But the market might have been warped recently Then any further incomings will depend on outgoings and the extent of Stephens’ injury. Although I still don’t see us signing two more CBs even if he is long term injured and ABK and Lyanco both go. But who knows
Seems like such a humble lad. "I know my performances haven't always been great, but you still supported me through all of it". Really hope he smashes it in the Bundesliga.
I see Cody Drameh who we have been linked to came on in the 26th minute yesterday and was subbed at half time Might make it easier for us to sign him
Yeah. Bad backpass for Ipswich's second goal. And by all accounts just had a bit of a nightmare stint on the pitch in general. Caveat though is that he came onto play LB, whereas I thought he only played RB?
Gutted that Tella's left, but can't blame the lad at all. Hope he Smashes it for Leverkusen. Will certainly keep an eye on the Bundesliga this season, now!
Does anyone know much about Leverkusen’s side currently? Is Tella likely to be a starter or a sub mainly?
