In the finalé at Goodwood (17:20), a Class-5 Amateur Jockeys' Handicap over 1m1f on the forecast soft ground, the Power gelding, Voltaic, has a good a chance as any in this event. Distance and conditions spot-on for him, and hopeful of a good run. Miss Sarah Bowen (3) on board for the Tony Carroll yard. 5/1 best odds in nearly all places at time of writing. Any drift in price then E/W should be considered.
Given your CURRENT form and the POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE between Voltaic and his rivals I’m expecting little RESISTANCE and an ELECTRIC victory
Not this time I'm afraid, horse palpably re-FUSED to have anything to do with winning it. (Sorry, that's awful, but best I can do). As for the race, selection never threatened at all, disappointing performance, for sure.
