    I'm sure he would get plenty of game time with us and not sure why he wouldn't back himself to grab a 1st team spot coming from Villa. If Swansea showed interest than he would be silly not to explore that as he has no connection to Hull. I would hope we don't give up easily, I really think he could make a huge difference for us. Im excited about Philigene coming in, but with Davis, we may just see some of our other wing players improve.

    Do not understand why we are bothering with him. Hardly prolific goal scorer. Seems more of a makeweight to get the other deal over the line

    Because with the amount of attacking talent we have in the midfield and wings sometimes you dont need to be the most prolific goalscorer. Heskey made an international career out of making space for others around him and Davis is a similar kind of player
